JE Audio was founded in 2007 at Hong Kong.  The company was established with one mission: to develop the finest quality audio products for music reproduction. The performances that are offered by the JE Audio products can only be matched at a much higher price points from the market.

The first products developed by JE Audio in 2007 were line stage preamplifier VL10 and power amplifier VM60.  Then power amplifier VS70 and line stage preamplifier VL20 were added in 2008 and 2009, respectively.  All JE Audio amplifiers are fully balanced with innovative circuit and aesthetic chassis design. The advanced fully balanced topologies employed in the amplifiers do not just reward the company with numerous patents, but also allow the amplifiers to faithfully reproduce the sound that the music was intended to be. With the emphasis in build quality and components selection, JE Audio products represent distinctive craftsmanship and value in the vacuum tube audio market.

John Lam is the founder and chief designer of the company. John received a PhD in electrical engineering. Before he founded JE Audio, John had worked in the semiconductor industries for over 11 years at various application, sales and marketing positions. John has developed a great interest in audio since his early teen. In recent years, his keen interest in vacuum tube devices has led the design team to develop some innovative balanced vacuum tube amplifier topologies. The dedication from the design team has resulted in more than 6 international patents and various recognitions from the audio industries.
